Hunting - Expensive sport
Hunters who have been around the sport know that it can get pretty expensive. You truly have to love the sport to really get into it. I feel that if they could lower the prices of some the accessories or permits that they could really bring in a lot of new hunters. Bows these days are really expensive. Even if you are trying to by a youth model for your son or little brother. A good youth model bow can range from $200 to $400 dollars. If we could lower these prices it would make people more likely to try the sport. Has price ever effected your decision to try hunting or not?

Yes! bc there are so many different license/permits you need for different seasons, also states.. and then all the guns, equipment, and if you want your own land to hunt on. It's definately alot of cost factors to think about.
ReplyDeletePrice definately effects hunting trips, they can be expensive.
ReplyDeleteYeah you know G Dub! We could be going pheasant hunting in a lodge with you but were just poor college dudes
ReplyDeletelol if you think hunting is expensive try horses!!! AH!
ReplyDeleteyes it has i out grew the draw length on my bow a couple years back and i cant afford to buy a new one.
ReplyDeleteVery expensive! I spend about $100.00 every year just for my Sportsman license, and lots more on gear and gadgets. I am considering buying a lifetime license, something that I think would be the ultimate gift for any youth that show great interest in fishing and hunting. Not sure what its like in other states, In NY I believe once you purchase the lifetime license your grandfathered in.
